In continuing with our “Women in Detailing” month of July, we are happy and excited to announce our next guest on RFA Live this Wednesday – Ashley Nye.  ⁣⁣⠀

Ultra-Look Corporation, the manufacturers of CarCandy Automotive Detail Products, is a family owned and operated business that started in 2010 in Lakeland, Florida. Ashley (now President) started her chemical journey in 2008  as an outside sales rep working for her father’s chemical distribution business called Interstate Chemical. She mainly sold industrial and commodity raw materials but was getting requests from her clients to manufacture automotive cleaning chemicals. So in 2010, when the possibility arose to purchase one of her customer’s detail chemical routes she jumped at the opportunity!Ashley spent the next year visiting detail shops, distributors, car washes and dealerships and asking numerous detailers what products they needed to make their jobs easier? A year later and after extensive market research, she hired a full-time chemist and began developing a line of professional detailing products branded CarCandy. Fast forward 10 years, and CarCandy now has 4 local route delivery trucks, national distribution, 75+ professional grade products, a 50,000 SF manufacturing facility and over 40 employees and says they are just getting started!⁣⁣⠀
