Joel actually comes from the food and mass retail industry, where he spent almost 27 years of his career. Coaching and consulting sales and management teams for International Companies for a number of years, as well as owning a large Bedding Distribution Company (managed by his wife) for the last 15 years has kept Joel quite busy.⠀

Fast forward to now where for the past 4 1/2 years Joel and his partner Jeff Kary have owned IGL Coatings North America, where they have gone from 35 customers to now over 4K registered buyers!⠀
Joel makes clear that his #1 priority is to teach people how to manage, grow and scale their detailing companies. Their intention is to manufacture quality products, stay on the cutting edge of R&D and continue to find solutions to help detailers grow and be successful.⠀

In continuing with our "Women in Detailing" Month of July, we welcome and are honored to have Jennifer Turcotte on the next episode of RFA Live!
Jennifer has been in the industry for 22 years...with 20 of it in detailing. She began at a "full service" car wash and detail center, always having a passion for cars and hard work was her way to enjoy both. Always calling detailing her “car cosmetology”, she ended up morphing the words together to create Carsmotology! There are so many treatments you can do to yourself in cosmetology, and she thought....same goes with vehicles! After 16 years of dedication to learning and practicing, she finally was able to get into teaching the craft that she loved!
Most recently IGL Coatings North America brought her on their team as a Trainer and Sales Representative. The ability to help so many around the country/world fuels her passion, brings her true happiness & she says she couldn’t be more grateful for the opportunity.
One of the biggest moments in her career had to have been the testing and creation of the "Jen K.O. Mix", which is a product to help save time, money and deliver amazing results!....now available all around the world! Jennifer feels blessed for the opportunities she has and never thought she would have gotten to this place in her career. She does realize that dedication, passion & hard work pays off and to stay positive....even when things are rough. "Learning is a gift even when pain is your teacher.....roll with the punches!" says Jennifer.

In continuing with our “Women in Detailing” month of July, we are happy and excited to announce our next guest on RFA Live this Wednesday – Ashley Nye. ⠀
⠀
Ultra-Look Corporation, the manufacturers of CarCandy Automotive Detail Products, is a family owned and operated business that started in 2010 in Lakeland, Florida. Ashley (now President) started her chemical journey in 2008 as an outside sales rep working for her father’s chemical distribution business called Interstate Chemical. She mainly sold industrial and commodity raw materials but was getting requests from her clients to manufacture automotive cleaning chemicals. So in 2010, when the possibility arose to purchase one of her customer’s detail chemical routes she jumped at the opportunity!Ashley spent the next year visiting detail shops, distributors, car washes and dealerships and asking numerous detailers what products they needed to make their jobs easier? A year later and after extensive market research, she hired a full-time chemist and began developing a line of professional detailing products branded CarCandy. Fast forward 10 years, and CarCandy now has 4 local route delivery trucks, national distribution, 75+ professional grade products, a 50,000 SF manufacturing facility and over 40 employees and says they are just getting started!⠀

On this episode of #ReflectionArtist Live we have Bernice Berry - Owner of Pure Luxury Detailing. ⠀

We are proud and excited to have our friend Bernice Berry as one of our first "Spotlight on Women in Detailing" for the month of July!⠀
⠀⠀
Bernice has a deep passion in helping the women in her community that suffer from traumatic pasts. She helps the homeless get off the streets, guides them to finding happiness again as well as back into becoming a normal functioning citizen. Helping people hits home with Bernice, as she herself needed help in battling a difficult⠀past, in which detailing helped her to overcome.⠀Now she is at a point in her life that she gets paid for what she calls "therapy". She loves playing with cars, which she has been doing since the age of 12 and professionally for over 30 years now! She also has 2 grown children, 7 young grandchildren who are all under the age of 13 and even 2 dogs…..who have all played a major part in her journey.⠀⠀

Let's not forget to congratulate Bernice on being 2021 Southern Detailers Conference "Woman Detailer of the Year" !!!!!!!⠀

Rod and Jody had actually known each other through family and friends and ended up working at the same software company together. They decided to put their heads together in 2009 and create their own company called Zenware. Let's not forget about how the Road FS Detail Memoirs podcast was started either......⠀

We welcome Mr. Dann Williams to the next episode of Reflection Artist Live this Wednesday. Dann actually spent the majority of his 20s and 30s playing music and working as a waiter, which is where he believes he learned about customer service. His detailing career actually begin because he wanted to buy a Rolex....which was quite challenging to do on a waiters wage alone.⠀

After many days working of two jobs, he built his business into success....but always with his eye open to the next level in his career. The next move happened to be with Opticote as a consultant, sales rep....ultimately working himself into a role of Vice President of Business Development. ⠀

On this episode of #ReflectionArtist Live we have Eric Joseph of Gtechniq. ⠀

We are happy and excited to have Eric Joseph on the next episode of Refection Artist Live!⠀
Eric started detailing professionally in 1999 while working at a body shop on the south shore of Long Island. After the world was impacted by the attacks of September 11th, he decided to join the New York City Police department. The big city was fun while it lasted and he was eventually transferred to Rochester NY in 2006. The detailing itch however, never left.⠀
⠀
Detailing on the side became too much and in 2010 he opened his first shop as a non for profit teaching the inner-city youth detailing skills. Eric enjoys training and completed the Smart Detailing University and The Esoteric Elite Academy early on (Rupes was just showing up in the US at this time). In 2015 he assisted in launching the IDA-SV program, hosting one of the first in-person events. Eric has certificates from XPEL, Colourlock, IDA-RT, SV, CD, Gloss University and Detailwise proudly displayed on the wall of his office!⠀

Eric worked with CAR Products launching the Bulletproof Line before landing with Gtechniq in early 2017. He has trained detailers across the United States, Canada, The Caribbean as well as Central and South America.⠀

We are fortunate to have 3rd Generation President/Owner Steve Goldman of Ardex Laboratories on the next RFA podcast this Wednesday. Steve and Justin get to discuss the rich 79 year history of Ardex, which actually began as a cosmetics manufacturer & how they evolved into one of the highest quality detail product lines in the industry, servicing over 1000 car dealerships on a weekly basis!⠀
We look forward to having Steve on to educate on Ardex products, the innovation the future and plans of Ardex Laboratories, being an IDA Founders Club Member, employing a long-term, well-trained staff, thoughts on the SDC over the weekend....and whatever else Justin and Steve get into!⠀
